The microbiological activity screening platform enables us to screen a large number of molecules, fractions and extracts, thanks in particular to the pipetting robot. Various biological activities can be tested, such as sensitivity to molecules and/or antibiotics and virulence factor production, and measured using multimodal plate readers.
The effect of antibacterial molecules on membrane fluidity can also be assessed using various membrane probes by measuring fluorescence polarisation or anisotropy.
In collaboration with the UMR-6014 CNRS COBRA chemistry laboratory, we can also search for and/or measure specific molecules in a complex organic or inorganic mixture (HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, polarography, GC/MS).
